Ethical challenges for artificial intelligence
Gilles Dowek le
Lieu: Amphithéâtres 33/34
Computer science in general and artificial intelligence in
particular are nowadays raising several ethical concerns,
challenging traditional values such as privacy and
accountability.
Making a program’s decisions intelligible for the various
humans involved in its process is key if they are to be
taken accountable.
With ethics comes the question of values.
Can a program have values? And if yes, what makes
human beings so singular?
In order to make this seminar easy to attempt both
physically and remotely, we will set up a Livestorm event.
